We’re TBG Solutions and we operate on a national basis providing test, measurement and control services. We work with customers to understand their requirements and, on identifying the principal challenges, engineer robust solutions that combine hardware and software. As our newly appointed Mechanical Design Engineer you will take engineering requirements from customers and design bespoke mechanical solutions that can be manufactured within time and cost constraints. This will involve the use of both commercial off-the-shelf components as well as custom design interfaces.

The role will involve the creation of 3D models and drawing packs to allow the manufacturing team to bring to life your designs. This important role will provide an opportunity to design and engineer a wide range of bespoke products which will allow our customers to benefit from our high-quality engineered solutions. The role will also involve the creation of blue-sky concepts and innovative & creative solutions, to a broad range of engineering challenges, presentations and documentation of engineering activities, along with updates and revisions to existing designs ensuring accurate revision control. Designs that will integrate with electronic and electrical solutions. Requirements will range from a simple interface panel to a complex operating system.
