Experience Required
About You- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Manufacturing / Design or similar)
- Strong and creative problem-solving skills with a practical, hands-on approach
- Familiarity with CAD tools – ideally Solidworks although strong candidates with relevant CAD skills will be considered.
- Good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- A proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop
- Ability to commute on a regular basis to our Barlborough site
- Someone who is looking to grow their skills, learn and adapt and expand their skillset.
- Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of industry standards (BS8888 & GD&T) and compliance requirements
- Exposure to project work and structured engineering processes
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement techniques

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities- Support the design, development, and optimisation of engineering solutions
- Design and develop 3D models, concepts and supporting data
- Produce technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including customers, suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and project management
- Assist with problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Participate in testing, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards, safety, and quality requirements
- Generate creative design work that integrates with Electronics, Electrical and Software requirements.
